Haha, talk about embarrasing… gees this reporter will definitely have a story to tell when he/she gets home. Wonder if it had anything to do with Obama’s speech on Gay Rights? Don’t think so but nice to see that President Obama is chilled enough to go with it and even asks ‘Whose duck back there?’

Listen carefully after around 18/19 seconds you’ll hear it.

So, I had heard some hype about it but didn’t really bother – think I’d had enough from the local Idols!
Anyway, I heard this morning that Kris won and apparently Adam was supposed to win… here is Kris doing Kanye’s Heartless song. Its not too bad, think I still prefer Kanye’s version.
Here is Kanye live with the original version of Heartless, remember Kanye said this was his favourite song and he wished he could watch himself perform it!
I saw Kanye live at the V Festival in England 2007 and Pink followed him, thought Pink was better live. Then again The Killers did perform later and blew everyone else away!
Wow, Britain’s Got Talent seems to work well with You Tube followers and this week proved no exception. On Monday morning most of us would have never ever heard of her - a 47 year old from Scotland who has never been kissed but by Tuesday most of us who frequent the online world reguarly would have.
Simon and the other judges didn’t seem to give her much chance when she came on the stage and did a little jiggle of her hips, even the crowd were rolling their eyes but then she started to sing ‘I Dreamed a dream’ from the musical Les Miserables and wow she almost immediatly got a standing ovation. This was a voice you would hear at musicals not from some old lady… Even Simon had a big unbelieving grin on his face!
Since Monday the video has been viewed 47million times and is on its way to becoming the fastest virally spread video, see graph here:

You Tube seems to have disabled the ability to embed the video so click here to view it. Graph courtesy from Mashable.com
The last big act that spread virally was from Paul when he sung Nessun Dorma, click here.
Recently on the NY Times there was an article on how a 9year old kid was using YouTube to do research on an Australian animal.
Is this the real reason why Google bought YouTube?
To control all areas and methods of searching? The 9 year old said that he uses YouTube if needs help in some of his video games or on his card collection, if he can’t find what he’s looking for on YouTube he’ll use one of the other search engines.
Now according to comScore in November last year people in American did nearly 200million more searches on YouTube than on Yahoo, this moved Yahoo into third spot for search engines.
Surely Microsoft and Yahoo must be wondering how this has happened, how another website (one that is owned by Google) has surpassed them in the number of searches run.
Currently YouTube is busy setting up deals with Sony and Nintendo to be able to allow their users to search and view YouTube videos via the game consoles on the TV, notably not on the Xbox.
I give it another 5 years before we don’t even need a satellite/cable service for our TV’s but simply connect our TV to the internet and watch everything through that. And why not, currently we just PVR/TiVo everything and fast forward the ads, why not just select what you want to watch and download it or stream it to your TV.
Goodbye to the big TV satellite companies…
Amazing footage of the crash landing into the Hudson river, the plane comes into site just after 2min into the video from YouTube. Amazing how social media is bringing the news quicker to the people.

Brief run down these two chaps (John Rendall and Anthony Bourke) were shopping in Harolds where they found a lion cub for sale (1959). In those days you were somehow allowed to sell exotic animals like that. But the lion cub was enclosed in a tiny cage and they took pity on the animal and bought it.
They then started to raise the animal in their flat and take it to their local church to exercise in the grounds there, quite quickly they realised they wouldn’t be able to keep it too long in London (even pictures of them driving in a convertable with the lion in the back seat) and that they would need to take it back to Africa.
They did this and some years later went to visit Christian, the footage is of the reunion. So far the footage has received over 10million views, a must watch!
